Hart Images Media Services utilizes the latest in broadcast technology for image and sound recording for the basic equipment package.
Sony PMW-F5 with ENG "Dock Deck" attachment. The F5 provides for video in HD and 4K Ultra HD: higher contrast, richer colors and greater clairty. Combinded with the ENG conversion kit, the F5 is perfectly suited for Electronic News Gathering and Electronic Field Production.
Canon 17-120 Cine Servo. The newest lens from Canon is fully 4K-ready, with a high optical resolution and support for Super35mm large-format cameras. An 11-blade aperture diaphragm helps ensure an artistic and beautiful representation of out-of-focus areas (or “Bokeh”). The lens also features a high 7x zoom magnification, wide focal length range of 17mm to 120mm.
Litepanel Astra LED lighting. The ASTRA series is designed with select premium quality, high CRI, surface mount LEDs and paired with custom designed TIR optics. These tightly binned LEDs and fine-tuned optics provide the ASTRA 1x1 with superior color reproduction and a light output that is up to four times brighter than traditional LED panels. This higher intensity results in a longer throw and illuminates a wider area, allowing the panel to compete with strong exterior light sources or illuminate a large area effectively.
The basic gear kit includes two Sony wireless microphones with lavalier transmitters or a Sennheiser RE 50 stick mic and plug on transmitter, on-camera 7 inch monitor, Sachtler tripod, various tungsten and LED light heads, scrims, flags, c-stands, and a big Ram Crew Cab truck with Sirius radio and California Press Photographer plates to haul it all around in, and comfortable room for passengers, too.

Nila Varsa "HMI" lighting. The Nila Varsa is the next step in the evolution of LED lighting. It's an excellent upgrade from 400 watt HMIs or a 600 watt tungsten fixtures, while drawing a mere 75 watts. The Varsa gives you a lot of punch in a small package and it can accept DC voltage directly. Can run off a brick battery at full power for hours.
LiveU LU500 Portable Video Uplink. Go live from anywhere at any time, without a big truck (and the big expense). No extending satellite windows, No extra parking for a big truck. And no being limited to how far you can run a cable.
Sony PXW-Z100. Professional-quality 4K recording in a familiar handheld form. SDI outputs and time code in/out for sync makes this a great lock-down camera for reverse or two shots. It's small size makes it great for shoots in tight spaces. Two XLR inputs for audio including Sennheiser wireless lavalier or plug on transmitter.
Sony 17 inch monitor. PVM-A170 Full HD TRIMASTER EL™ OLED panel offers the industry’s widest viewing angle of any professional flat-panel monitor. Picture and Picture function provides the convenience of working efficiency both in the field and in the post process. The PVMA170 features two SDI inputs with loop-out, and a 4-pin XLR DC input allowing it to be field powered by a professional video battery system
Macbook Pro and Premiere Pro edit suite. Field editing and FTP on a 17 inch Macbook Pro,
Go Pro cameras with various mounts also available, as well as other video and audio equipment as needed.
